Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced enhanced financial support for Primary Agricultural Credit Societies by making them eligible for loans up to Rs 15 lakh at zero percent interest through cooperative banks.
The state will also provide a 10 percent interest subvention to PACS that repay loans on time. Speaking at the Mega Cooperative Conference in Panchkula, attended by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Saini said Haryana would lead the effective implementation of the National Cooperative Policy–2025.
He emphasized that strengthening cooperatives is central to farmer welfare, rural growth and achieving the goal of Developed India, Developed Haryana.
