In a significant step toward strengthening cooperative-led exports, the Hyderabad Agricultural Cooperative Association (HACA) and the National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding in Hyderabad on Monday.

The MoU was formalised in the presence of K. Surendra Mohan (IAS), Secretary, Agriculture & Cooperation, Government of Telangana.

The agreement aims to make agricultural and allied products from Telangana export-ready by strengthening quality standards, aggregation, branding and logistics support through cooperative institutions. It is expected to create stronger domestic and international market linkages for cooperatives, enabling farmers to access better price realisation and wider global opportunities.

Under the partnership, focus will also be laid on developing sustainable and profitable value chains while promoting Telangana’s unique produce at national and international trade fairs.

As India’s umbrella organisation for cooperative exports, NCEL reiterated its commitment to empowering farmers and cooperative societies, advancing the vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” through enhanced global outreach and export-driven growth.
