The Gujarat Urban Co-operative Banks Federation, in association with NUCFDC (U.O.), successfully organised a one-day seminar on Core Banking Solutions (CBS) at its Federation Office in Ahmedabad, bringing together around 50 participants from nearly 30 Urban Co-operative Banks.

The seminar featured live demonstrations of two globally recognised CBS platforms, Infosys Finacle and TCS BaNCS, showcasing their advanced digital capabilities, robust cyber security framework and technology-driven banking solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of cooperative banks.

Representing NUCFDC, Sumit Hans and Padmabhushan Bahadure highlighted the objectives and benefits of the Sahakar CBS Initiative, explaining how it can help Urban Co-operative Banks modernise operations, improve efficiency and strengthen customer service.

Experts from Infosys and TCS conducted interactive sessions, answered participants’ queries and demonstrated key features of their platforms.

The seminar offered valuable insights into secure, scalable and future-ready banking technology, reinforcing the sector’s ongoing digital transformation and commitment to enhancing operational excellence.
