Gujarat BJP president CR Patil held a meeting of co-operative leaders in Gandhinagar and asked them to participate in planting trees as part of the celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on 17th September, reports the IE.
Hundreds of cooperative leaders drawn from various segments of the cooperative sector attended the meeting. These included co-op banks, dairy co-ops and others.
A source says ecological balance has been adopted as the theme for prime minister Modi’s birthday celebrations.
