In a significant move towards enhancing cooperative efforts, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is set to preside over a workshop for Cooperative Leaders in Gandhinagar.
The workshop, a part of the International Cooperative Year-2025 celebrations, aims to promote inclusivity and sustainability within the sector. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision under the theme “Cooperatives Build the Better World.”
The workshop will take place at the Gujarat National Law University, and Gujarat Legislative Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary will be present as the chief guest. State ministers, including Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel and Forest and Environment Minister Mulubhai Bera, will also be present to emphasize the government’s commitment to the cooperative movement.
Key cooperative figures such as Dilip Sanghani of NCUI-IFFCO Ajay Patel, Chairman of Gujarat State Cooperative Bank, and Ashok Chaudhary of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation will contribute their insights.
The workshop will draw participation from directors of district central cooperative banks and other cooperative entities, ensuring broad representation across Gujarat’s cooperative landscape.
