Gowda uses IFFCO’s cheque for school construction

Aware of its role in nation’s development the fertilizer cooperative IFFCO recently contributed a cheque of Rs one crore. The cheque was handed over to Union Chemical and Fertilizer Minister D V Sadananda Gowda as contribution towards CSR.

Gowda, known for his role in societal development lost no time and contributed the amount for the construction of a school at Channena Halli Village in Karnataka.

Tweeting about this development Union Minister Sadananda Gowda wrote, “Handed over Rs 1 crore cheque of IFFCO under CSR to Sri Nirmal ji Head Of Jana Seva Trust to construct a school at Chanennena Halli village. I Adopted Chennena Halli Village in my constituency Bengaluru north under #AdarshSansadGramYojana”.

This is not the first time the IFFCO has contributed fund to various organization in the country. Last year it contributed Rs 1 crore to Sahakar Bharati for women empowerment and farmers’ welfare.
