The Department of Cooperation, Government of Goa has conducted a training session to familiarise officials with the provisions governing unilateral deemed conveyance, popularly known as “Majho Flat.”
The session, held by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS) last week, focused on Section 104B of the Goa Cooperative Societies Act, 2001.
The training was attended by Assistant Registrars of Cooperative Societies (ARCS), Cooperative Officers (CO) and Senior Auditors, aiming to strengthen their understanding of the legal provisions and procedures related to deemed conveyance.
The department shared the update through its official X handle, highlighting the initiative as part of efforts to enhance the capacity of cooperative department officials and facilitate smoother implementation of provisions benefiting cooperative housing societies.

Conveyance would be absolutely illegal as it tantamounts to robbing Peter to pay Paul. Comunidade land is only leased and never sold, unlike Maharashtra where deemed conveyance is done only on government land not privat. These so called officers will bend backwards to please their masters instead of challenging this illegal act.
The Cooperative ministry starting from the top , Ministers office, Registrar , Deputy Registrar, the AR of North and South goa and all the officers are incompetent, compromised and the laziest with no knowledge and no intention of solving societies problems but are very good in creating more . One of the most horrible ministries of Goa. My experience of 3 years dealing with them.
