Acting under the zero-tolerance policy against corruption and irregularities in the cooperative sector, the Department of Cooperation Rajasthan has taken strict action against the former General Manager of the Tonk District Cooperative Consumer Wholesale Store.
In line with the directives of Bhajan Lal Sharma and Cooperation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies ordered the dismissal of the then General Manager from service over alleged irregularities linked to the functioning of the cooperative institution.
It is said the action reflects the Rajasthan government’s commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability and clean governance within cooperative institutions. The department has reiterated that strict action will continue against those found involved in corruption or administrative misconduct.
