The National Federation of Fishermen’s Cooperatives Ltd. (FISHCOPFED) held its 185th meeting at its headquarters in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, on Monday, under the chairmanship of Prakash Lonare.
The meeting was addressed by FISHCOPFED Chairman Prakash Lonare and Vice-Chairman Jayshree Gadanayak. The gathering brought together representatives from different states and senior officials associated with the fisheries and cooperative sectors.
Rakesh Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Ministry of Fisheries, Government of India, and Manoj Kumar, Director General, National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), offered important suggestions during the meeting. Representatives including Jagpoojan Sahani from Uttar Pradesh, Katta Lingam from Telangana, Sanjay Kevat from Bihar and S. Madegowda from Manipur also attended.
