Fishcopfed employees pin hopes on Rupala

The apex body of fisheries co-ops in the country, Fishcopfed is mired in controversy and its employees are not getting their salaries for the last few months. Even Grant-in-aid is not being given to the Fishcopfed.

The co-operators connected to the apex body feel that after assuming the charge of the ministry, Purushottam Rupala would take necessary steps to bring about positive changes in the situation.

Meanwhile, Hukum Singh Bhati, Vice Chairman of the apex body of fisheries cooperatives greeted Rupala when he joined the new office. The news and photos were shared through the social media handle of Fishcopfed.

“On being made the Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Hon’ble Parushottam Rupala, Vice President of FISHCOPFED New Delhi, Thakur Hukum Singh Bhati, met the Honorable Minister. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Union Minister, a ray of hope has arisen among the fishermen of the country”, the fishcopfed facebook post reads.
