In an unexpected development in the board elections of Rajasthan-based Fingrowth Cooperative Bank Ltd., the Cooperative Election Authority (CEA) has approved the election of all directors except one, while withholding approval for the election of Abhimanyu Kumar Golcha, pending clarification from the Returning Officer (RO).

In an order issued on Thrusday, the CEA directed the RO to declare the election results excluding Golcha, representative of Golcha Minerals Pvt. Ltd., whose unopposed election from the Jaipur constituency has not been approved for the time being.

The Authority said an appropriate decision on his election would be taken after receiving the RO’s clarification.

The CEA approved the election of Anirudh Garg, Vidit Bhura, Sunil Bakhshi, Vikram Singh Rathore, Chandra Prakash Gupta, Sunil Saxena, Mukesh Kapoor, Sarita Singhvi and Shivani Bohra, all of whom were elected unopposed.

Meanwhile, the SC/ST reserved seat on the Board will remain vacant as no nomination was filed for the category.
