Fighting Covid: MSC Bank’s employees donate Rs 21 lac

Maharashtra State Cooperative (MSC) bank has donated a cheque of Rs 21.19 lakh towards the CM relief fund on Wednesday in order to help state government fight against the coronavirus. The whole amount was contributed by the bank employees from their one day’s salary.

The cheque was handed over by Maharashtra Cooperative Bank employees union leader and former MP Anandrao Adsul and former MLA Abhijit Adsul to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar in Mumbai.

Sharing the news through social media, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar tweeted, “On behalf of ‘The Maharashtra State Co-Op. Bank Ltd.,Mum’ Former MP Anandrao Adsul & Former MLA Abhijit Adsul donated a cheque of Rs 21,19,440/- towards the ‘CM Relief Fund’ for the fight against corona, in the presence of Bank officials Pradeep Patil, GM Dilip Dighe & Dharmaraj Munde.

Earlier, the MSC bank handed over the dividend cheque of Rs 10 crore to Pawar for the 2019-20 FY.
