EC Shift: Bharat Taxi ties up with massive mobility
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Cooperative ride-hailing platform Bharat Taxi, operated by Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited (STCL), has partnered with Massive Mobility Private Limited to boost electric vehicle (EV) adoption across its driver network.

The collaboration focuses on easing the transition to EVs by combining charging access, financial support, and operational incentives. Massive Mobility will provide access to its EV charging network and technology platform, while Bharat Taxi will drive onboarding and integration within its ecosystem.

Key initiatives include discounted charging, cashback incentives, and performance-linked benefits for drivers. The partnership will also offer financing and membership solutions to reduce upfront EV costs, alongside training and support for smooth adoption. Dedicated fleet charging hubs are also planned.

“This partnership is about building a practical EV ecosystem for our sarathis by combining charging access with financing support,” said CEO Col. Himanshu Sharma.

Backed by institutions like IFFCO and NABARD, Bharat Taxi may also introduce a dedicated EV category as adoption scales.
