On the occasion of Marathi Journalists’ Day, Dombivli Nagari Sahakari Bank (DNS Bank) organised a felicitation programme at its central office to honour eminent journalists for their contribution to society.
Journalists felicitated on the occasion included Amol Joshi, Senior Anchor with ABP Majha; Ashwini Mayekar, Editor of Vivek weekly; Prashant Mane, Sub-Editor with Lokmat; Janhavi Maurye, Senior Journalist with Tarun Bharat; and Kishor Pagare, Correspondent of Jai Maharashtra news channel.
On behalf of the bank, Directors Milind Arolkar and Yogesh Walunjkar welcomed and felicitated the journalists. During the interaction, discussions were held on challenges faced by young journalists, particularly in availing loans due to the nature of their profession.
The possibility of joint initiatives between journalists and the bank to create awareness on cyber security was also deliberated.
The bank extended its greetings to journalists from print, electronic and digital media on Marathi Journalists’ Day.
