DCCBs’ merger: HC asks DMs to be present in meeting

Kerala high court has asked collectors of seven districts to attend the meeting to be held in district cooperative banks on the constitution of Kerala Bank through merging these cooperative banks into the proposed bank.

All the seven district cooperative banks are opposed to their merger, reports The New Express News.

As directed by the court, District Collectors are expected to make arrangements for video-recording the meetings. However, they are supposed not to make these video-records public.
