Krishi Jagaran reports scores of schemes have been launched for the welfare of farmers but unfortunately the farmers are not informed about them.
The Union Ministry of Agriculture offers substantial subsidy for the livestock farmers having 10 cattle. The scheme is being run with the help of Nabard.
All banks including cooperative banks are eligible for refinancing from NABARD.
