Customers first: SUCO Bank appoints Ombudsman

Karnataka based SUCO Souhardha Sahakari Bank has appointed CA Ramachandra Prabhu as the Ombudsman to address the grievances related to customers in Bellary.

The news was shared by the bank founder chairman and former MLC Manohar Maski through social media. Maski wrote, “I am happy to share that SUCO Bank introduces OMBUDSMAN for itself. Mr.Ramachandra Prabhu CA Raichur takes over as the 1st Ombudsmen of SUCO in Bellary”.

“SUCO Bank is the first cooperative Bank in the country to introduce Ombudsmen scheme for customer’s grievances “, Maski claimed without looking around much.

CA Ramachandran Prabhu has been appointed for three years. He would examine individual’s complaints. Prabhu is Ombudsman in GESCOM- Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company also for last 4 years.

It bears recall that SUCO Souhardha Sahakari Bank achieved a milestone by crossing a turnover of Rs 806 crores this fiscal. The UCB has earned a profit of Rs 7.90 Crores in FY 2017-18.

Bank is having a total strength of 28 branches in Karnataka.
