The Office of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS), under the Ministry of Cooperation, has invited applications from retired Central Government employees for engagement as consultants on a contractual basis.

According to the circular issued, the CRCS is looking to hire retired officials of at least Assistant Section Officer (ASO) rank from CSS or Non-CSS cadres. The selected consultant will handle crucial responsibilities including court cases, VIP references, establishment matters, budget and accounts, Parliament work, RTI matters and other administrative activities.

The position will initially be for one year and may be extended based on performance review. The monthly remuneration will be fixed under the “last basic pay minus pension” formula as per Department of Expenditure guidelines.

The Ministry has sought experienced officials with strong knowledge of Central Government rules, independent noting-drafting skills and proficiency in MS Office and e-Office systems. Preference will be given to residents of Delhi-NCR, while the maximum age limit has been fixed at 62 years.

Interested candidates have been asked to submit applications along with PPO/Pensioner Card details within 15 days to the Office of CRCS in New Delhi.
