Corona scare: Kangra DCCB’s headquarters closed

The headquarters of Himachal Pradesh based Kangra Central Cooperative Bank’s has been closed after one of the employees found corona positive on Wednesday. However, the bank’s branches are functioning.

Talking to Indian Cooperative, Bank Chairman Rajeev Bhardwaj said, “Sanitization work is going on in the headquarters and we have appealed to all the employees of the bank to be quarantined”.

“At the same time, everyone has also been requested to get the corona test done. We are following all the guidelines regarding Covid-19”, he added.

In Kangra district, cases of corona infection are increasing steadily. In the district, 1567 people have been affected by the coronavirus.
