Leading cooperative organisations across the country marked World Farmers Day by paying tribute to the contribution, resilience and hard work of farmers in strengthening India’s economy and food security.
National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) said farmers not only grow crops but also strengthen the foundation of the nation’s prosperity and future. In a message shared on social media, the organisation reaffirmed its commitment to the prosperity and development of farmers through continued partnership and support.
Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) highlighted that every harvest reflects the hard work, patience and hope of farmers, adding that the cooperative remains dedicated to empowering cultivators and supporting their journey towards progress and prosperity.
KRIBHCO also extended greetings to farmers, describing them as the true heroes behind sustainable growth and national progress.
