Chhattisgarh Congress Committee General Secretary Rajendra Sahu has been made the Chairman of Durg District Central Cooperative Bank.
Sources said, in the pre-planned manner, Jawahar Verma, the outgoing Chairman of the bank has been removed from the top post. Verma assumed the charge in 2021 but during his tenure allegations of corruption were leveled against him.
Sahu is said to be a close associate of Bhupesh Baghel, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
