The Rajasthan State Cooperative Consumer Federation (CONFED) held its 41st Annual General Meeting at Sahkar Bhawan on Wednesday, chaired by CONFED Administrator and Registrar of Cooperative Societies Dr. Samit Sharma.
The AGM reviewed CONFED’s financial and business performance for FY 2025-26, with the federation reporting total business of Rs 946.67 crore and a net profit of Rs 16.63 crore.
Member institutions raised concerns over around Rs 265 crore pending under the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS), along with higher administrative charges and payment delays due to objections raised by TPAs. Dr. Sharma directed Finance and RGHS officials to review the issues and take necessary steps for early resolution.
The AGM unanimously approved proposals to expand Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras, launch an e-cooperative pharmacy for home delivery of medicines, and increase the number of millet (Shree Anna) outlets.
The meeting also discussed strengthening CONFED’s operations and improving consumer services.
