A major membership drive is gaining pace across 131 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) under the District Central Cooperative Bank in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh aimed at expanding farmer participation in the cooperative network.

Launched under the “Sadasyata Maha Abhiyan,” the campaign has seen intensified door-to-door outreach, with society staff directly engaging farmers across villages and encouraging them to join as members. The initiative seeks to strengthen grassroots cooperatives and enhance farmers’ access to credit and allied services.

To review progress, a virtual meeting was held on April 20 under the guidance of Mrinal Meena, Collector and Bank Administrator. CEO Abhinav Singh Baghel led the session, urging officials to accelerate outreach and ensure maximum enrollment.

Branch managers, supervisors, and society managers from regions including Waraseoni, Katangi, Lanji, Baihar, and Paraswada participated actively.

The campaign marks a focused push to deepen cooperative reach and empower farmers through wider participation.
