Co-op Impact: Sodhi releases list of 10 millionaire women

Amul Managing Director R S Sodhi has released a list of 10 Millionaire rural women entrepreneurs who earned lakhs of rupees by selling milk to Amul in the 2019-2020 FY.

Sodhi released the list through his social media handle. He wrote, ” Meet our 10 millionaire rural women entrepreneurs of @banasdairy1969 of Gujarat who are involved in the business of dairy & AH. They poured milk worth lakhs of Rs during fin yr 19-20.”

Sodhi’s tweet further added “There are lacs of such empowered women in Gujarat @Amul_Coop @girirajsinghbjp @ChaudhryShankar”.

In the first position Chaudhary Navalben has earned Rs 87,95,900.67 by selling 221595.6 kg milk in 2019-20 whereas at the second position is Malvi Kanuben Rawatbhai, who earned Rs 73,56,615.03 through 250745.4 kg milk and Chavda Hansaba Himmat Singh, who collected 268767 kg milk and earned an income of Rs 72,19,405.52 is at third position.

The story of these women once again underlines the fact that the co-op movement has a huge potential of impacting the life of a common man or woman.
