Chhattisgarh State Co-op Bank organizes training

A cooperative training institute in Chhattisgarh run under the control of State Cooperative Bank, organized a three day training program in collaboration with BIRD from 31st July 2023 to 02 August 2023 at Raipur.

Addressing the participants, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Baijnath Chandrakar said, the state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has great faith in cooperatives. For the first time after the formation of Chhattisgarh, 725 new cooperatives were formed and 185 crore financial assistance was provided to these co-ops by the state government to make a warehouse cum office”.

Dr. Gyanendra Mani, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Chhattisgarh said that there is great scope for finance in the cooperative sector in Chhattisgarh in the fields of horticulture, fisheries, dairy, cluster based business, etc.

On this occasion, Hemant Kumbhare, Program Director, BIRD Kolkata, Chhattisgarh Cooperative Training Institute, Director, AK Lehre and others were present. The training program was attended by 28 participants.
