Union Ministry of Cooperation Joint Secretary Anand Kumar Jha chaired a follow-up meeting with representatives of all National Cooperative Federations to assess the progress made on key action points discussed earlier on Friday.
The meeting, held in New Delhi, was a continuation of the earlier discussions led by the Ministers of State for Cooperation on 18th March 2025, which emphasized the need to strengthen the cooperative sector’s publications and social media outreach.
During the meeting, Joint Secretary Jha reviewed the implementation status of the previous directives and urged federations to accelerate efforts in improving the visibility of cooperative achievements. The deliberations also focused on devising strategic frameworks for more impactful communication through digital platforms and traditional publications.
Officials emphasized the importance of aligning outreach efforts with the Government of India’s broader narrative on “Sahakar se Samriddhi” and increasing public engagement through success stories, cooperative models, and on-ground impact.
The meeting was attended by Kapil Meena, Director, Ministry of Cooperation, National Co-op federation’s representatives and other senior officials from the Ministry.
