Criminals made away with a safe containing Rs 6.62 lakh from the Watur branch of District Cooperative Bank (DCB) in Partur tehsil in Jalna in Maharashtra, reports Republic world.com quoting an auto-generated syndicated story.
The criminals broke into the bank to take away the safe.
The bank’s CCTV, DVR machines, inverter, printer and computer and two tables were also stolen, say police.
