In a significant development in the credit cooperative space, two senior officials from Maharashtra-based Buldana Urban Multi-State Credit Cooperative Society have moved to Karnataka-based Shri Beereshwar Multi-State Credit Cooperative Society, marking a notable senior-level transition.
Shirish Deshpande, former CEO of Buldana Urban with over three decades of service, has joined Shri Beereshwar as Coordinator and Advisor. It is said that Deshpande later developed differences with Buldana’s top management, leading to his exit.
Alongside him, Yogini Pokle, who served as Regional Manager (Pune) at Buldana Urban and worked there for over 15 years, has taken up the position of Assistant General Manager (Maharashtra & Goa) at Shri Beereshwar Credit Co-op. Her move is expected to strengthen the society’s expansion strategy in western India.
Both officials have already assumed charge at their new organization, signaling an aggressive talent acquisition push by Shri Beereshwar as it aims to scale its footprint across states.
Shri Beereshwar Multi-State Credit Cooperative Society currently has a business mix exceeding Rs 8,500 crore and operates a network of 231 branches across multiple states, emerging as a key player among multi-state credit societies in southern India.
