BJP candidates have been elected unopposed as chairpersons of six District Cooperative Banks in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal division.
The newly elected chairpersons are Gajendra Singh Rawat (Chamoli DCCB), Subhash Chandra Ramola (Tehri DCCB), Manjeet Rawat (Dehradun DCCB), Pankaj Rawat (Pauri DCCB), Sharda Rana (Uttarkashi DCCB), and Bijendra Chaudhary (Haridwar DCCB).
The Uttarakhand BJP congratulated all the newly elected chairpersons and extended its best wishes for their tenure.
The unopposed elections are being viewed as a boost for the BJP’s influence in the cooperative sector, with the new leadership expected to focus on strengthening district cooperative banks and improving services for members, farmers and other stakeholders.
