Bharat Taxi took a significant step towards expanding its cooperative mobility network by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with key government and cooperative institutions during its launch ceremony in Jaipur. The agreements were exchanged in the presence of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Union Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, Ministry of Cooperation Secretary Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani and other senior dignitaries.
The MoUs aim to provide institutional backing for Bharat Taxi’s operations, improve service delivery and encourage wider public participation in the cooperative transport initiative. They are expected to strengthen coordination between Bharat Taxi and public agencies while making transportation safer, more reliable and more accessible for passengers.
The agreements were signed with the Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC), Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Rajasthan Roadways. These partnerships are expected to enhance last-mile connectivity, integrate Bharat Taxi with urban transport systems and support mobility for commuters across the state.
The collaborations also reinforce the Ministry of Cooperation’s vision of promoting cooperative-led economic development by extending the cooperative model into the transport sector. By working closely with public institutions, Bharat Taxi aims to build a sustainable, driver-owned mobility platform that combines technology, employment generation and public service while creating greater opportunities for Sarathis and delivering seamless travel experiences for citizens.
