Besides NCR, Nafed sells tomatoes in Bihar

In a bid to stabilize the prices of tomatoes, Nafed is geared up to sell tomatoes at Rs 90 per kg through its stores spread in different parts of Delhi.

Heeding the call of the Central Government, the agri cooperative Nafed sold tomatoes at Rs 90 per kg to the general public through its stores.

Sharing photos and details through the twitter wall, Nafed wrote, “To tackle rising tomato prices and carry out directions of DoCA, GoI #NAFED has made #Tomatoes available at all NAFED Bazaar Stores in Delhi at Rs.90/kg”.

Besides, tomatoes are also being sold at centers in Bihar’s Patna and Muzaffarpur at discounted rates. Nafed will also begin the sale of tomatoes at Arrah, Bihar.
