Chhattisgarh State Commerce and Industry Minister Kawasi Lakhma inaugurated the branch of District Central Cooperative Bank in Amabeda village of Antagarh Tehsil of Uttar Bastar Knker district of state last week.
On the occasion, Lakhma said that the Chhattisgarh government is doing good work in the interest of farmers. He appealed to all the villagers to open their accounts in a cooperative bank and avail themselves of the benefit.
It is said that for the past many years, villagers had been demanding the opening of the branch. Villagers are happy that their demand has been fulfilled.
The local MLA Anop Naag and others were also present on the occasion.
