Former IFFCO Managing Director Dr U.S. Awasthi has extended heartfelt wishes to the organisation on its Foundation Day and the commencement of its Diamond Jubilee Year, recalling his long association with the fertiliser cooperative.
In a post on X on November 3, Awasthi said it was his great fortune and pride to have had the opportunity to contribute his best to IFFCO, with the blessings of Mahadev. He congratulated Chairman Dileep Sanghani, Managing Director K.J. Patel, members of the Board and all employees on the historic occasion.
Interestingly, Awasthi also highlighted several personal coincidences associated with November 3 and the number three. He completed his Chemical Engineering studies in 1967, his younger son was born on November 3, and he served as IFFCO’s Managing Director for 390 months, whose digits add up to three.
He also assumed charge on February 1, another date adding up to three, making the number particularly special to him.
