National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, and Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex Bank, organised a two-day capacity building programme in Naharlagun to strengthen financial management and governance in the cooperative sector.
The programme brought together officers and staff members of APSCAB and 34 Large Sized Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPS) functioning across Arunachal Pradesh. The sessions focused on improving knowledge of accounting systems, financial statements, governance practices, and digital transformation initiatives within cooperative institutions.
The event was inaugurated by Pankaj Shah in the presence of S V Ranga Rao, Jummar Bam, and Bittu Kri.
More than 60 participants attended the programme, which aimed to enhance institutional efficiency, transparency, and professional management in Arunachal Pradesh’s cooperative ecosystem.
