Architect of MSCS Act Nitish re-elected as CM again

Nitish Kumar, who is credited as being one among those who helped in the drafting of the rule book of co-operatives known as MSCS Act 2002, has been re-elected as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 4th time in a row.

Several co-operators of the country have hailed his victory and congratulated him on the occasion. Remembering his cooperative connection when he was instrumental in formulating the MSCS Act 2002 as the Union Agriculture Minister in the Atal Bihari Bajpai govt, they wished him good luck in his new tenure.

This year in February Nitish was the Chief Guest at the Bihar Cooperative Conference organized by Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh. More than 6000 PACS members had participated in the event.

Nitish had reiterated his commitment to strengthen co-operative movement in the state. Congratulating him on his victory, Indian Cooperative hopes that he remembers his promise of boosting co-operatives in the state.
