AP Mahesh Bank: Telangana High Court issues contempt notices

The Telangana High Court has sent contempt notices to the Board of Directors of the AP Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank for violating the orders issued by the court, according to media reports.

The court was dealing with the contempt petition filed by the AP Mahesh Cooperative Urban Bank Share Holders Association arguing the existing managing committee (Board of Directors) of the bank had violated the court orders issued on January 8, 2021.

 The court had ordered the newly-elected Board of Directors that until further orders, they were supposed to stick to the orders given by the court in matters relating to the bank.
