GCMMF, the parent company of Indian dairy giant Amul, has announced its lead sponsorship for the USA cricket men’s team in the upcoming T20 World Cup.
The tournament, set to begin on June 1, will mark USA’s debut as co-hosts alongside Canada. Amul’s association with international cricket dates back to 2011, having sponsored teams like the Netherlands, South Africa, and Afghanistan.
This move signifies Amul’s commitment to promoting cricket globally.
Venu Pisike, Chairman of USA Cricket, expressed delight at having Amul onboard, while Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of GCMMF, emphasized the nutritional benefits of milk for athletes.
