Following their talks with the AP chief minister earlier, the Amul team visited several districts of the state to study the possibility of dairy development before submitting their report to the AP govt on the reorganization of the dairy sector for the benefit of milk producers.
Hans India reports Amul visited the Madanapalli unit of Vijaya Cooperative Dairy in Andhra Pradesh to weigh if the closed unit could be brought to life again.
Sources say the revival of the unit will benefit the local farmers in a big way.
