Media reports say that GCMMF, the owner of prized brand Amul has lodged a complaint against a resident of Allahabad who tried to blackmail the dairy co-op titan by posting malicious video about it on social media.
An FIR has been lodged in Prayagaraj. The accused named Ashutosh Shukla demanded Rs 10 lac for removing the video.
The fake video claims that the Amul Gold milk curdles because it contains plastic and could be poisonous, the complaint said.
