Dairy major Amul has said that its product supplies to the Gulf region remain stable despite the ongoing conflict in parts of the Middle East, media reports say.
Speaking on the issue, Jayen Mehta stated that the cooperative’s exports to Gulf markets are continuing without major disruption. He noted that the company has maintained consistent shipments to ensure that consumers in the region continue to receive Amul products.
The Gulf countries represent an important export destination for Amul’s dairy products, including butter, milk powder and other packaged items. Mehta said the cooperative is closely monitoring the situation but has not faced any significant logistical challenges so far.
He added that Amul remains committed to maintaining reliable supply chains and supporting international demand for Indian dairy products despite regional uncertainties.
