Amul, the Indian cooperative giant, is set to launch its “super milk,” containing an impressive 35 grams of protein per glass, within a week.

Typically, Amul toned milk has around 3 grams of protein per 200 ml, and full cream milk has about 7 grams, according to CNBC Awaaz. Amul MD Jayen Mehta stated, “This is the highest level of protein in any of our products. We are calling it super milk.”

Additionally, Amul has launched high-protein lassi, milkshakes, buttermilk, and whey protein, each with 15-20 grams of protein per serving, on its e-commerce platform.

The company, with a 2023 turnover exceeding Rs 55,000 crore ($7.2 billion), will introduce organic products next week, including masalas, jaggery, and sugar.
