Gujarat’s dairy Cooperative Amul raised prices of milk by Rs 2 per litre throughout the country from 1 July, citing higher input costs. The price has been raised after a gap of a year-and-a-half, a statement issued by Amul informs.
The price revision will help in offering remunerative milk prices to milk producers as well as encouraging them for higher milk production,
It is noteworthy that the dairy cooperative has increased the price of the fresh milk category after a year and a half.
