Amul, India’s top dairy brand, is projected to surpass Rs 1 trillion in revenue this fiscal, driven by strong consumer demand, media reports say quoting its MD Jayen Mehta.

The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets Amul, aims for Rs 75,000 crore in revenue, while its 18 member unions expect Rs 25,000 crore from local sales.

Last fiscal, GCMMF saw 11% growth, reaching Rs 65,911 crore, with overall Amul brand revenue hitting Rs 90,000 crore. GCMMF, a farmer-owned cooperative with 36 lakh members, processes 350 lakh litres of milk daily.

It ranks 8th globally in milk processing and exports to 50 countries, recently entering the U.S. market with fresh milk variants.
