Amul India paid homage to iconic designer Rohit Bal with a moving tribute on Instagram, featuring a striking black-and-white graphic of him, accompanied by the phrase, “He fashioned India’s style.”
In the post, Amul added the hashtag “#AmulTopical” with the caption, “Tribute to one of the country’s fashion design icons,” acknowledging Bal’s immense impact on Indian fashion.
Rohit Bal, who passed away at the age of 63, had been battling heart-related issues and was hospitalized shortly before his death.
Tributes flooded social media, including a heartfelt message from former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, who shared a cherished photo from a fashion event they collaborated on, remarking, “An indomitable spirit and what a pioneer. Rest in peace #RohitBal.”
Bal’s hospitalization in 2023 had prompted him to express sincere thanks to supporters, acknowledging their continued encouragement.
