Jayen Mehta’s candidature for the top post of GCMMF will be decided in the next board meeting and not in Tuesday’s meeting , clarified one of the board members while talking to the Indian Cooperative.
Earlier, media reports cited Tuesday’s meeting as the day when Mehta would be formally given full-fledged charge as the MD of GCMMF, owner of the brand Amul.
Meanwhile, GCMMF board of directors are meeting today at its Anand headquarters to elect the new Chairman and Vice-Chairman. The names will be announced soon.
It bears recall that after the resignation of R S Sodhi from the MD post of GCMMF, the board has made Jayen Mehta the MD in-Charge of GCMMF.
