Amul will set up kiosks at 10 Bengaluru Metro stations under a new agreement with BMRCL, selling dairy products, chocolates, snacks, and oils.
The move, aimed at boosting BMRCL’s non-fare revenue, follows a steep fare hike and may revive tensions with Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which markets the ‘Nandini’ brand. KMF had earlier opposed Amul’s entry into the state, calling it unethical and harmful to local farmers.
Stations include Indiranagar, Majestic, Jayanagar, and more, as Amul expands into Karnataka’s retail space through metro infrastructure.
