Given skimmed milk powder overstock primarily due to reduced demand, Amul has sought financial help from Gujarat govt to export the surplus stocks, reports Hindu.
Amul happens to be the largest player in the country’s dairy sector.
Experts say, the Gujarat govt will be well advised to provide the dairy cooperative with the required financial assistance.
