Uttarakhand-based Nainital District Cooperative Bank distributed Rs 112.50 lakh loan cheques to 27 beneficiaries for self-employment as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
It was distributed by the bank Chairman Rajendra Singh Negi in the presence of senior officials of the bank. The beneficiaries took loans for establishing animal husbandry shops, commercial vehicles, bakeries, JLC, women’s groups, etc.
On this occasion, Negi said, most of the women groups in the district are associated with the Nainital DCCB, to whom loans are being provided under various schemes.
