Maharashtra based Ajinkyatara Cooperative Sugar Factory, known for its reputation of paying sugarcane dues within 15 days of cane supply, has disbursed the entire cane payment amounting to Rs 213.50 crore for the 2025–26 crushing season.
Sharing this information, Chairman Yashvant Salunkhe stated that the full payment has been directly credited to the bank accounts of the concerned farmer-members.
In an official statement, Salunkhe said that under the guidance of Maharashtra’s Public Works Minister Shivendrasinhraje Bhosale, the factory’s operations are being carried out in a well-planned manner. He emphasized that the cooperative has consistently upheld its tradition of offering one of the highest cane prices to its member farmers.
The crushing season commenced on November 3, 2025, and concluded on February 26, 2026. During this period, the factory crushed 6.10 lakh metric tonnes of sugarcane and achieved a sugar recovery rate of 12.74%, resulting in the production of 6,96,617 bags of sugar.
