Agrasen Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd, one of the fastest-growing urban cooperative banks in Telangana, reported strong financial growth and expansion plans during its 2nd General Body Meeting for FY 2025–26 held on Sunday at Surana Auditorium in FTCCI Bhavan.
Addressing shareholders, Chairman Pramod Kumar Kedia said the bank has completed 28 years of steady progress, strengthening its branch network, digital banking systems and governance standards with continued support from members.
The bank’s total business surged 36.03% to Rs 1,225.94 crore as on January 31, 2026, compared with Rs 901.23 crore a year earlier. Loans and advances rose 39.87% to Rs 503.80 crore, while deposits increased 33.47% to Rs 722.14 crore. Reserves and surplus stood at Rs 67.09 crore, while share capital grew to Rs 25.35 crore.
Kedia also said the proposed merger of Agroha Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd with Agrasen Bank is currently under review by the Reserve Bank of India and is expected to strengthen the bank’s scale and service reach.
During 2025, the bank opened seven new branches and seven ATMs in Hyderabad and plans to launch another branch at Begum Bazar soon while moving toward full internet banking services.
The meeting was attended by Senior Vice-Chairman Naveen Kumar Agarwal, Vice-Chairman Suresh Kumar Agarwal, along with other board directors, bank officials and shareholders.
